Can anyone tell me first if the upgrade payment from basic to pro is a one off payment.

Also if your on a basic cable connection that is restricted is it worth upgrading to pro?

And last of all can anyone suggest a programme to use to burn to DVD, I have nero smart installed at the moment, can use that for music but cant use it for film for some reason any advise would be greatly appriciated

Limewire Pro cost $18.88 and get you six months worth of free upgrades/updates, and you should only get it from here:

Do not get Limewire Pro from anywhere else because you are likely to get ripped off if you do.

I am a Nero V5.x user, which is very good, and I understand from what I have read that Nero 6.x is very good for burning both CDs and DVDs. So the easiest thing to do is upgrade to Nero 6.

LW Pro is a single payment for 6 mths only of free updates & customer support. For the amount compared to many programs, it's seen more as a donation to the development of Limewire.

Your connection is clearly good enough. There's plenty of pro users with much lesser.
