Windows Problems with installing LimeWire or WireShare for Windows users |

![]() When I was installing the newest version of LimeWire, it came up with a message saying "You currently have an older version of LimeWire installed on your computer". This was the first time I have ever used LimeWire in my life and its telling me I have it already? I don't understand, this message made no sense to me. |

![]() Yeah the same thing happend to me, and it was my 1st time using it...But when I chose RUN instead of SAVE when it asked me if I want to run this program it didn't show the message any more....and if you still have the message coming up you can just click ignore....If your absolutly sure you already don't have LimeWire downloaded in your system..... |

![]() I'm running win xp pro and when I try to download LW it bsays that it's finished but when I try to start it another box pops up that says limewire setup dialog and it ask for connection speed, language then it says loading html engine and it freezes at 12%. I didn't have this problem with the older version. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
