Just installed 4.8.1 pro - bought & paid for from proper site - and noticed that it did not take me through the 'setup' routine like when I've installed before on another profile or even another pc.

Also, it opened with the black background which i was using before, so I am thinking that despite uninstalling, there are still some registry entries hidden that need deleting - anyone know if this is right?

When i run LW, I can only ever connect as a leaf node, whereas before i was an ultrapeer!
If anyone can help with this, i'd be grateful - i've tried everything I think to cure it and read many of the threads on here.
My ports are open and ok, NIS is configured right, xp f/wall is off, my speeds are good - whats going on??

sys: xp pro/DSl modem/2mb connection/no router.
