I have installed limewire yesterday when they asked the question have you a modem or dsl I entered modem. I have BT broadband and wondered whether modem was the coorect answer or could I be downloading faster if id put in dsl.

There is no "right" or "wrong" answer. If you have broadband, enter Cable. Cable Broadband is faster than DSL, but your answer to this question will not increase or decrease your speeds. One benefit I see for answering truthfully is, supposing you are the only one who has the file but you show me a modem (28.8,33.6,56k) connection I might pass you by, but if you show me a cable connection I might want to download from you.
