Troubles with Java Runtime Environment

Everytime I try to install LimeWire, I get about 95% through the installation and then I get an error message saying that I "already have this version of Java Runtime Environment". I've tried deleting the JRE and re-installing LimeWire but I get the same message. I have also tried downloading JRE directly from Java and LimeWire still cannot load the JRE. HELP!
