Paid for Pro, where is it?
When I bought Limewire I chose the Upgrade to pro option and definately paid for it. My billing email has this on it:
Pro Version Upgrade - Movie Codec Pack for a total of 14.95 $ USD I don't have pro and the website doesn't recognize me as a pro customer. What should I do?

Which site did you pay? The official LW site is here: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml & they don't offer xtras such as movie codecs which you can get for free anyway. Sounds like a con! See http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...5&pagenumber=1 It sounds like you went to a scam site so if I were you, cancel the transaction thru your bank/credit co. asap. I thought for sure I downloaded it by going to www.limewire.com
The website it gave me was www.musicmembersarea.com Customer support said I paid for a video player that will play any type of movie I download. Is this right? Or did I get ripped off? You got scammed if I were you I would contact my credit card company and tell them I got scammed give them the name of the site and the URL and try to get your money back. Then go to the link that the lord gave you and get LimeWire there.

Yes you've been ripped off! LW only offers LW. The LimeWire.org site offers 2 versions. Basic which is FREE & pro which is $18.88 The issue it these scam sites take your money & then give you a link to the Basic LW downld site. So you paid for something which is FREE. Also there's video players you can get for free which can play everything. I would recommend VLC. See CODECs list and alternate players for Movies
So cancel your transaction & tell your bank it was a scam. Some of these sites charge you monthly or yearly so beware. BTW I just entered "any" made up false email & got into that site & into the downld page. Grandpa beat me again! lol  I'm getting slow!
