If LimeWire fails to install

I am trying to download Limewire Basic but each time I try I am givven the message " Unable to download Limewire... The connection with the server was reset." Does anyone have any help?

A couple possibilities I can think of.
Try using a different internet browser instead, such as Firefox for example.
Check your security settings, make sure the LW site is on the safe/trusted site list.

Are you getting the same displays as me?... "the connection server was reset"?

I get a big old question mark, as if the app is completely gone. I have re-installed 4.18 and I got it downloaded and installed but now it seems to have detected a non-existent firewall and won't let me get tunes. I'm pretty ready to give up. I am not as 'puter savvy as many here so I run out of options and ideas pretty quick.
Might ask if anyone here knows how to detect a firewall that isn't up.

wtf? I have used Limewire for years. Had to do a system restore, and now I can download anything under the sun (except NSA, NASA and CIA files) except Limewire! Has it been taken over by Homeland Security to interrupt musical messages between terror cells? "Is this the dawning of the age of Aquarius?"... not so innocent after all, heh?
