Can anyone shed any light on this for me. At the weekend, I tried to sign up for emule, I was directed to a biling site (marketengines. inc) altho it was supposed to be free. It claimed the charge would only be £0.99 per month, paid monthly, so I thought what the hell ill pay it. However once the transaction was complete, it stated £20.88 would be charged to my credit card!!!. They had charged me for the yearly subscription & then for spyware, which I had not requested. I was then prompted to download LIMEWIRE, which I did & is working fine. However I now realise that this service is free. So im wondering, who the hell did I pay & how do I get this back.

I have had no joy contacting limewire. Emails rejected, number on website not valid!!!!

Have also tried contacting marketengines. inc, no response.

Where do I go from here???
