hi i uninstalled limewire by mistake but when i go reinstall it it wont open for me it does'nt give the option of what speed i want to use?am i installing the wrong file?

Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire

By reinstall do you mean you used the original installer or a freshly downlded one?

hi,i freshlly downloaded one,i'm wondering if it is something to do with java i had to download java again?

hi its definitely java because i dont even get the limewire icon coming up,could u tell me which java i need to run limewire..

For some M$ reason, one version will work fine on some people's systems but not the other version. So I'd suggest you uninstall Java using your Add/Remove control panel. Then downld Java 1.4.2 installer to your computer & then install it. Don't install it over the net!!! For a link to Java 1.4.2 see my link above, it has a link to it.
(Java sometimes gets corrupted installing over the net.)
