Hi i was wondering if you could help me. I have limewire 4.9 and every time i try to load limewire an error message saying limewire magnet registry error appears. Underneath that it says could not create the registry could you please help?

Do you have any other p2p sharing programs installed on your computer? Just guessing but there might be a clash of magnets.

I'd suggest uninstalling & installing again. To uninstall, go to Start menu>Programs>LW>Uninstall

Try that 1st. If still problem then get back to us. Also, use the offline installer.

I havent got any other p2p programs installed maybe their still hanging around on the computer but there removed from add/remove programs. I have tried uninstalling and installing but still doesnt work.

You don't use the add/remove prog control panel for LW. You can only remove it the way I suggested. Not since about LW 4.3 could you use the add/remove control panel to remove LW. But, you will also find an uninstaller within the LW program folder.

ok i uninstalled the program how u told me before but on installing it again it still said there was a magnet registry error.

You may have to delete the magnet folder from your registery
