I wish I could help with this one. I use a mac and my downloads go to another drive but, Limewire itself must afaik be on the same drive as the OS. I'm not sure if this applies to PCs also. Do you have anything else on the second drive? Is it an internal or external one? and if external how is it connected. I'm shooting in the dark here but ... we'll sort you out somehow.

With windows LW program has to be on the OS drive. But your incomplete and share can be on another drive. On my main computer LW is on C my incomplete and share are on E.

What newbie4265 said doesn't make any since to me LW should recognize his drive if Windows does.

Click on Start/Control Panel/Computer Management/Disk Management and see if your OS is recognizing it.

On my windows I use G drive as a share drive without problems. And LW is installed on drive F. As Grandpa suggested, you may need to apply permissions for the particular user to utilise drive G as a share location & with that users permissions.

Sorry for the delay in responding, I was out of town.

It turns out that the cable connecting the second HD was bad. I replaced it and all is well. I am still learning to use LW it is quite different from winmx.

Thanks for all your help. You may hear from me again.
