limewire pro doesn't recognise me I have paid for Limewire Pro and want to find out how to download onto my new computer. when I go to support it wants my email address, and it says that it doesn't recognise my email address. (although it is sending me plenty of email) That makes it impossible for me to ask questions thru LimewirePro, so I have had to try through this route. Can anyone help me? I really need to contact someone but don't know who or how. It was expensive to get the LimewirePro - I also subscribed to the dvd option and now I can't get anything at all! I only registered in Sept, and I still have my old computer, so can maybe email something from it to myself? If only I knew what!!!! Fingers crossed someone can help. |

A couple of things you say make me pretty sure you have bought a scam version of Limewire, and the only consollation is that you are not alone. This thread contans a handful of posts on the subject http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=28751 Limewire is availaible free at www.limewire.com or Pro costs US$18.88 It would be interesting to know WHO is sending you "plenty of e-mail" Limewire only ever sends 2 e-mails to new cpro customers. You have been a victim of fraud, and I advise you to cancell your credit card, as the scammers have your details, and to try to get your money back either from the seller or your CC's fraud protection. |
