If I delete LW and reinstall, will I loose the downloaded files.
still having probelms with the low quality connection although followed direction: to delete folder ect

To uninstall LW, go to the Start Menu>Programs>LW>Uninstall & it will "only" uninstall what was installed at the time of installation. All your preferences & downld folder, etc. will remain intact.
However, that's as long as you didn't make the LW program folder the downld folder which is something some silly people do at times.
