I have deleted limewire but every minute or so a message pops up and it says that one or more necessary files is invalid and that it might be due to corrupted installation.Can anybody tell me how to get this off of my computer?

How did you delete your LW? For windows, the normal step is to go to the Start menu >Programs>LW>Uninstall. If you used the Add/Remove programs control panel then it will not remove all of LW & cause problems. This has been reported before. You could reinstall it & then uninstall properly I guess.

If you're wanting to re-install it to use again, then I would highly recommend you get the "Offline" installer. The installer will uninstall the previous LW during the beginning of the installation process.
