Default uninstall / firewall

Hi All,

Decided to uninstall Lime Wire after the Kerio Firewall kept going nutz requesting permission to connect to an outside computer.

Went to Control Panel / Add Remove Programs and removed Lime Wire. It no longer appears under Start/Programs but in Start/Explore it still shows up under Program Files. It must still be there because the Kerio Firewall keeps sending Outgoing Connection popups to the screen.

I must have missed something. What did I do wrong here, guys.

Cordially,

w9xs

Lightbulb remove Limewire

I had to remove the program for similar reasons... If you go to My Computer/Program Files/LimeWire and manually delete the folder (and then empty the Trash can) you should be fine...

Smile

Thanks a mil. Tried the same thing from Start/Explore/Program Files/Lime Wire and it wouldn't allow me to delete "shared files". Your advice worked like a charm. Thanks again.
