Hello, I've Installed Limewire and whenever I click on the Icon to Start the Program up it does nothing. The Program does not run or anything.

Anyone? My OS is Windows XP Pro.

i'm haveing kind of the same problem with XP home. the program begins to load as is shown by the hourglass cursor, then i get a "limewire has encountered a problem and needs to shut down" error. i have reinstalled many times, even going into the registry and deleting every "limewire" key.

The weird thing is, is that I have it on another (broken) account on this Computer, and it worked 100% efficient.

Heh, well, I hope someone around here can Help!!! :P I'm Sure someone will come to the Rescue, and as you had said in a previous Post, that you have tried Installing many times, I've tried so many Times as well. However, an odd thing is, is that Bearshare SEEMS to work fine.

i'm hoping....i was told in another thread that they think my windows is screwed, i hope not....i have lots fo things i don't want to lose

Anyone know how to fix this?
