![]() I ordered Limewire in October for a total of 46.55 Euros. Unfortunately I had to scrap my computer. So I bought another computer and downloaded Limewire again, but could only get basic.I entered my e mail on which I ordered the original but it does not accept it.Probably due to the ip number,so does anyone know what I can do please. Many thanks in anticipation |

![]() Warwick €46.55 seem quite high, especially when it should not cost more than €20.00 ($18.00 or £12.00). It looks like you got your copy of LW from a scam site, i.e. a web site specialising in parting the naive from their money. If this is the case it is not suprising that your email address is unknown, the scam site will have nothing more to do with you, they already have your money, and you have never dealt with the Limewire Org. Go to this URL (the official LW site) and download LW Basic for now: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml In the meantime, contact your credit card company or bank and try to get your money back. And as background reading you should familiarise yourself with this: Membership? **WARNING ** BEWARE** Download p2p Clients ONLY Thru Official Sites http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...=&pagenumber=1 There is also a list of scam sites in this forum but I can't find it at the moment. ![]() Warwick I believe you are fooling yourself if you believe that you downloaded LW from the correct site because: a) The LW Org does not sell movie codecs, which are freely available on the internet you just have to know where to look. b) Net Spy Protector is a bogus piece of spyware app sold only by scam sites. c) There is no LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP, again this is a piece of fiction used by scam sites to extract more money out of the naive and gullible. Again, I would strongly suggest that you contact your credit card company or bank and try to get your money back. Now more than ever because you could end up paying monthly subscriptions for your membership of a non-existent Lifetime Club Sorry Warwick, you were scammed because you did go to the wrong site.
