My limewire is not opening. all I am getting when I try to run it is the upgrade now box and nothing else. This could not have come at a better time, for I have to make a soundtrack for my english class, and I need to get songs. I need to find out ASAP how I can fix this. PLEASEEEE. I'm sorry in advance if this is already a thread, but I tried to understand the other ones and just got totally confused.

Do steps 1-3 here Fixes for Limewire ie: uninstalling Java using your add/remove programs control panel. Then reinstalling Java using the "Offline" java installer.

I uninstalled Java. Downloaded the new one (the one that you recommended) And I tried to find folder you were talking about in Applications. I ran the show all hidden files and I didn't find a limewire on in the Apps. I did however find .limewire in the documents and settings. should I delete that?
