You posted in the wrong section. Lucky I found it & moved it huh! lol

It sounds like a Java issue. Probably uninstalling it & reinstalling. See points #1-3 here Fixes for Limewire
Also, it might be a good idea updating your LW: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml

Oh & don't forget to make sure your firewalls are properly set up: Connection problems? Check here first!
