I searched but couldn't find anything. I have limewire basic on XP and a couple of days ago I ran into the following problem: WHen Limewire starts up I can only see the Limwire update pop-ups and nothing else.

Apparently it is running but I can't see or click on anything. When I close the tab on the taskbar I am able to see the window that pops up with the loading bar showing it is closing.

I am a newb at this stuff so I hope someone can help!! Thanks!

It sounds like a Java issue. Probably uninstalling it & reinstalling. See points #1-3 here Fixes for Limewire
