Hi,

Has anyone noticed that on loading, the main page appears to half load and then re-load again?

Its not a big problem i know but has anyone been able to find out why?

Just double-check, Control-Alt-Delete keys & open Task Manager. How many listings of Limewire do you see? If there's more than one, then either you're opening more than one instance when you open it (perhaps clicking too many times on the shortcut), OR you have more than one copy installed.

If not, then it might be a Java issue. Is your java up to date?

I had already checked for the program loading twice in the processes list. There is only one limwire.exe.

I think i have Java up to date , i have updates 3 and 6 installed as i know that lime wire wanted updates when i installed it.

It may be that everyones limewire does what mine is doing anyway, that is the first screen flashes and then redraws itself and then loads the program, after that the main page ( that has "Getting Started" on it loads half of itself then flashes with the full page loaded.

Do others notice this?

My LW 4.10.3 pro does it & so does FrostWire 4.10.0

I think it's always done this, regardless of what version. Doesn't seem to be a problem
