HELP! Online Installer problems!!

hi..I used to have limewire and one day it went crazy and somehow uninstalled itself from my computer. I have tried over and over to get it to reinstall and it won't. I have cheked on numerous directories on my computer but limewire doesn't show up. i have java downloaded. i have read all the forums and tried the backup installers and they all do the same thing. When I click the link to install limewire, it promts up the installer askng me to save. I click ok. then it puts two icons on my desktop called LimeWireWin-full.exe.part. I'm supposed to click this so it can start installing, but the problem is that when I click it, I get an error saying that windows doesn't know what program created it so it can't open it. I've tried seleting a bunch i thought might work, or going onto the web to select it, but then my internet freezes. Nothing works. I have a firewall and AOL security, but I've looked and none of them say they're blocking limewire. i don't understand because i used to have limewire and it worked perfectly. please help me i'm so confused!!!
