Hi everyone, Please can someone help me?
I have had limewire before, and in order to obtain the newest version I had to uninstall the previous software. When installing the new version 4.10.9(I believe this is correct), I get the same message that it needs to be aborted because of another installation, which is not occuring. Another problem that occurs is the installer stops on the Java install about 1/3 of the way through the installation period. My java is up to date, and working properly. I have tried the offline installer and that does not work either, does any one have any suggestions, or has had similiar problems? Feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank You -NICK |

Go to add remove programs and un install all versions of Java. Then click on the Java icon in my sig choose manual install. Save the offline installer to your desktop or where ever you save files to.
Now before you install it bring up the task manager by holding down Ctrl+Alt then press Delete click on the applications tab and see if java is listed as running. If it is highlight it and click on end task. Now with that done open the Java installer you downloaded and install Java. After you have Java installed install LimeWire. |
