Ok i have downloaded LW and every time i try to run it, this screen pops up (as seen here: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y15...7/limewire.jpg) But after about 3 seconds the screen dissapears and LW does not run, i have no idea why this is happening and i would really appreciate it if someone would help or give me advice. thank you.

I have tried both but the same outcome persists, might there be another way to remedy this problem? Or it is quite possible i have done something wrong, but i believe i followed the instructions very carefully i have no idea what is wrong, some extra help please

By making a note of preferences, I meant make a note of any settings in your options such as where your downld folder is & where any shared folders are. Once you delete the LW prefs folder, you'll need to reset them. But perhaps you haven't even gotten to that stage.
You could try changing the compatibility mode of LW to either Win 2000 or win NT. Right-click the program & go to properties & change compatability setting. |

Well it seems nothign will work for me, the porblem continues, i guess im cursed to never have limewire running -_-

O.o Well this is weird, limewire just started running for no reason, i guess i must have done somethin right

If you have any more problems try this: try to completely uninstall limewire! everything that has to do with it delete it and empty the recycle bin and start all over! hope this helps!
