I've loaded 4.10.9 on my toshiba laptop. I'm running xp pro 5.1
When I start the program, the screen says Enabling Open Information sharing but it's blank. If I run the cursor around the screen I can get the search box to appear, then the file menu at the top. If I minimize the screen or tab to another application, when I come back to Limewire it's blank again and I have to click around to get stuff to appear. I've gone thru the XP firewall suggestions on your site and added Gnutella with the IP addresses twice.
It says I have a very strong connection .
When I search, i have to click in the right pane to get the results to appear

Hi, Thanks for the links.
What finally worked was removing JAVA, and redownloading Limewire then a reinstall. Screen looks great now.

FWIW.....I couldn't install my Microsoft Office either, but during my uninstall on Java, a window popped up about the Office install. Once Java was completely removed, I tried reinstalling Office and viola . . . it works!
