I changed it to NT and I use Vista.
This is probably not related and I'm not sure I can talk about it on this thread or whatever,( I'm new to this forum thing,) but now I cant drag songs from limewire, (or anywhere really,) to iTunes

Drag them from LW's download folder. ie: Go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you. Then drag & drop them from there to iTunes. ;)

Help!!!

I tried installing Limewire for the first time and during the initial setup it gets stuck on "Loading HTML Engine" and just doesn't move. Does anyone know why? I'm running Windows XP Home Edition.

Please Help.

Okay, i had the same issue :bangh:, and I tried one of the posted suggestions for uninstalling java and all that stuff, didn't work for me. However, i did find the answer a different way... I Manually downloaded the newest version of Java, then i downloaded LW 4.12.06, and from there, I installed LW 4.14 WITHOUT removing 4.12.06, It seems the the files in 4.12.06 provide the missing key to using 4.14. My LW is working beautifully again ! (My guess is the 12% error is being caused by a missing file in the DL if your doing a clean install)

I have windows Vista and I just changed the compatibility mode for my limewire to windows NT and it works fine. Re-downloading java didn't help me at all.
