Well, I have LW v. 4.12.3 and one day I was on LW downloading, and everything was a - ok. Then all of a sudden it just went off. When I tried to get back on, the loading window would come up and load everything, but LW would not come on.
So I tried re-instaling java, deleting the .limewire file, I have NO spyware removal programs, and no firewals. Then I uninstaled LW and Java, then reinstaled Java. And I tried to reinstall LW, it instaled but in the middle it said "This application has failed to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found. Re-installing the applicatoin may fix this problem". My computer is a Windows XP I don't know what to do. Now the loading window comes up but after that nothing happens. Help would be greatly well, helpfull |

The MSVCR71.dll file is a windows system file normally located in c:\windows\system32 and not a specific LW file.
If that file is corrupted or got lost in your crash, you'll have to use the boot cd of XP and use the repair function (if I'm not mistaken)......
