installation failure MSVCR71
I keep getting the error message that "installation failed b/c MSVCR71 wasn't found." Reinstallation doesn't help. Nor does the offline installation.

This is a file belonging to Windows and can be found here:
C:\Windows\System32 If you can't find this file on your computer or if it is corrupted then you might have to use your Windows boot CD and repair your OS installation.

mscvmsvcr71.dll error fix
i've had the same problem. just download the file from www.dll-files.com extract the zip file to your WINDOWS/system32 folder and your good to go!
