LWROX is flying high
Default AIYA! LW installer and exe not working!

One day I went on Limewire hoping to find a movie for the people at the party could watch.
So I went on and i clicked on the limewire exe and nothing happened and clicked on it 10 million times and nothing happened. So i tried to install it again and THAT DIDNT WORK EITHER! Whats wrong!

Maybe changing the compatibility mode might also have an effect. Right click the exe icon, go Properties>Compatibility and change it to Windows NT (or Windows 2000)

If not,....Uninstall LW and all Java versions on your system. Reboot and then download the JRE offline installer of the newest Java version from here:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp
Install it and reboot again, then reinstall LW.

the installer doesnt work either

Well,....you have uninstalled LW, and Java, rebooted your pc downloaded the newest Java version as JRE offline installer, installed it rebooted again and reinstalled LW using also the offline installer in less than 5 minutes....???!????
You must have a hack of a machine......minimum 1000 Mbps....

Did you also try deleting the original LW preferences folder that was created when you originally installed it? Most likely step 3 here Fixes for Limewire

Edit: also try opening the program from the program folder, not using any of the short-cuts such as those on the desktop or start menu.
