Wont Install Completly

I can get pretty far except its gets to the firewall screen and it wont let me get past that. I dont have a firewall and i heard there is supposed to be a window to pop up to continue but it wont pop up!

Try pressing the space bar...that's moved things along for some people!

Or reinstall Java & LW again. Start off by using the offline JRE installer here

Go to add/remove programs & remove your current Java version before installing the new one.

Next, reinstall LW & make sure to also use it's offline installer

now when i get to the scan hardrive i get to it and it wont go on from there after it does scan

Did you reinstall Java & LW? Or did pressing the space bar work?
If you haven't yet, do the reinstall of Java & LW.

ive been pressing the space bar and then it worked fine till it came to that part

Now which Java do i install?

Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 update 9. Use the offline installer, which is 15.74 MB:wink:

i downloaded that and then i went to redownload limewire and it still wont go past the scan for computer for media files part.

Ok, don't tell it to scan your comp for media (you can add things to share later, from within options)...see if installation finishes then.

it still wont let me finish, i move it down to no and then press space bar or enter and it wont go anywhere

Try the Other installer (bottom of the list on the download page), see how that goes. Check the thread below for how to use it.
