Please help! | If you've tried to delete LW thru add/remove programs then you might run into problems. As muhctekdano said, use the uninstall option (start > all programs > LimeWire & choose uninstall from there). If you reinstall LW, it should remove the previous version...then you can uninstall the right way. Bear in mind though, if you're infected, uninstalling LW's not going to remove the virus 
What's going on? Is LW popping up all the time & refusing to stay closed (just a guess, it's a common worm)? If that's the case then please try the easy fix at the end of point 2 in the sticky below. It's worked for a lot of people. WARNING: Viruses on the network you should be aware of

Please make sure that you're using a decent AV program. Keep it updated & scan all downloaded files before opening.  |
