I was using limewire the other day but I formatted my pc and and bought mcafee virus scan plus and installed it. I now just tried to install limewire and and I granted it full access but it get to a window that tells me a window may pop up from my firewall and to allow it but no window pop up and I have uninstalled it and restarted everything. I am using window xp home sp2 and my window firewall is disabled. Any help would be great. Thanks.

My LW has been like this for 3 days now...my father-in-laws is the same way. I went in and paid for the year again, DL' ed the new beta 4.13... still will not start. What the hell!!!! help please

Also Sarmar you said you just paid for another years subscription, the official Limewire does not provide this...How much did you pay and where did you purchase it from...

I ended up getting it to work by uninstalling mcafee and and limewire, then installing limewire all the way and then installing mcafee. I kept limewire logged on while i installed mcafee so I don't know if that helped any, but it worked.
