November 2005 I bought a"Lifetime Full & Unlimited Access with 25% off" from Limerwire and installed on my laptop. Reading this off of an Owner confirmation document that I saved on the Webgood confirmation page. The laptop fried itself a month ago. What did I buy? This confirmation has an order ID number. Did I buy some special Limewire or get privileges that I cant get with the free basic version? If so, where do i go to reistall what I purchased on my new computer? Please help this self-professed computer idiot! Thanks

Where did you buy LW? Sounds like you were scammed...there's no lifetime subscription. LW Pro costs $18.88 USD & covers you for 6 months of free updates & email support. LW basic is free. Since you bought so long ago, there's no way you'll get a refund from the scammers now
![]() The only official site for download of either version is www.limewire.com See the thread below for more info (page 5 has a list of scam sites) ![]() http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-discussion-topics/28751-membership-warning-beware-download-p2p-clients-only-thru-official-sites.html |
