won't let me get onto lime wire After i installed lime wire i clicked on the icon on my desktop and a window came up. It asked me to select a language, folder, all that stuff and then after it asked me if i wanted it to start automatically another screen came up. The window talks about firewall protection and what to do if another window about that comes up, but that window never came up for me and now on this window that i have there is no "next" or "finish" button so it just stays on my screen. But when i "X" out of it the lime wire box behind it that says it is "loading HTML engines" goes away. How can i make it stop and be able to open up my lime wire? |
I have the same problem. I have uninstalled reinstaled lime wire and Jave and the offline but it won't work. Let me know if you find out please? |

Help with loading Lime Wire I have been trying for 2 weeks to get this program to work. I have installed and uninstalled and closed Norton and made it so that the comp would accept cookies. I just recieved a post for font and that did not seem to work either. I did notice that when I uninstalled Java that it would not do anything. Installed the offline version and that did nothing either. Does anyone have any more ideas? Been too long and it is now a challenge. I have a brand new comp and it is Windows XP. Does that make a difference? Please help me... |
