![]() Hi, You seem to know your stuff. I used to be on the free limewire and now have pro. I upgraded because all of a sudden I couldn't play my files. I can play them in the windows media player but not on the limewire player. I have checked that it is selected and have shut down a restarted but I can't seem to get it working - nor can I find any info on this particular problem on the limewire web site. If you can help that would be great or anyone else reading this that knows something about it. I noticed someone else has posted the same problem but couldn't find any replies on this. Thanks for any input folks cuz I'm stumped. leenerbeener ![]() |

![]() Hi, I really don't know why you'd want to use the LW player (I find it pretty awful) but if you really want to use it, try this: Delete LW's preferences folder when LW's properly closed. See point 3 here & also point 2 if you've used older versions of LW in the past (there could be a folder in either location). Fixes for LimeWire This will kill all of your settings within options, you'll have to go back through afterwards & reset things. |

![]() Hey thanks Bird, I checked out the pages you sent me and printed them off. I will attemp the suggestions when I have a chance - my little one keeps me busy. I just find the player convenient while searching for new tunes. Thanks and I'll let ya know how things turn out. ![]() |
