Default Forever loading HTML engine

Just downloaded limewire
Then uninstalled my JSE2 Java thingy (yes, great terminology for an ex-computer science student)
Then unistalled Limewire
Then reinstalled Java
Then reinstalled Limewire... I have downloaded the on-line and off-line versions to end up with the following results:

Limewire setup dialog box telling me to allow access (which I already have)
AND, the limewire box in the background just "loading HTML engine" I know it's not loading cause there is no activity going on with my internet connection!!!!

I'm lost... what have I done wrong... Why isn't it working?

Oh yeah - When I go to the user guide and follow the installation process it stops at step 6 & 7... if that makes any more sense?

Default Stopping at Step 6 of Installation

Hi - posted this in another area by mistake but oh well...

If you look at the user guide and follow the installation process, for some reason, mine just stops at step 6.... I have allowed my firewall to give all access to Limewire so I can't figure it out....

Anyhelp?

wondering why is just really nice
Default

Try installing the Java JRE offline version first....(5th one down)
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index_jdk5.jsp

Then install Limewire using the offline installer (not the recommended one)...
