Windows Problems with installing LimeWire or WireShare for Windows users |

![]() 1. Windows XP 2. I have Norton Symatec Anti Virus but no firewall 3. 512 ram 4. I have 54.7 GB available 5. Dsl broadband 6. Linksys Router 7. House 8. LW 4.12.11, Java JRE 5.11 9. SBC Yahoo 10. Yes the test worked 11. Im on a LAN at my house. Theres 1 computer and my computer and a laptop are running off a router. 12. I've had limewire before and it worked fine. Then all of a sudden it started slowing down my computer. Thats when i uninstalled it and started using bearshare. Got tired of bearshare so i downloaded limewire again and thats when the problem began. 13. Yes i see the little wall. 14. I don't know much about how my routers set up. All i know is it works and limewire worked before so i can't see how it'd be a problem. But if that can really be the case i'll try and find out. |
