Hi Forum
This is my first post so be gentle with me ![]() I have used Limewire/Pro for a few years with no problem. I was having download speed issues so i thought i would uninstal Limewire Pro and reinstal the latest free version to see if that worked. If it did then i was going to pay up for Pro again as i had let my support payments lapse. I un-installed via add/remove programs (yes i now know that's not the right way! ) and downloaded the latest version. It goes through the installation ok but when it comes to setup it won't ping my firewall to allow me to complete the installation process. i have used the search to remove all traces of limewire....i have checked/unchecked boxes in my firewall program (the windows one). I have tried almost every concievable way i can think of to no avail. ![]() I would love to get it up and running again and go for the pro version, but i'm not paying money until the free version is running. any idea's?
