I just got LimeWire PRO 4.12.11. I'm using windows XP and I have Java(TM) SE Runtime Evironment 6 Update 1. I tried to install LW and I finished the installation wizard. I clicked Finish, and "Run LimeWire" was checked. Nothing happened. So I tried opening it from the icon that was generated on my desktop; the LimeWire Pro 4.12.11 loading screen came up like it was going to run, but that just disappeared and nothing happened. I tried restarting, same results.

Try this version of Java instead, heaps of people have had trouble running LW with Java 1.6.0_01. Use the JRE offline installer & remove your current Java version before you install this one
