Limewire Pro starts out like it ie going to load. Right after the bottom of the LW screen says searching for windows library it stops. A new ICON is
created on the program manager, however there is no ICON in the lower
right corner. I have windows xp, the newest version of JAVA and Norton
Security. I have tried just about everything, ie changing Java to JDK 5.11, loading from offline installer. I am not very computer savy, so I really could use help.

Have you tried going into the limewire folder (in program files) and double-clicking the 'limewire executable jar file'?

Just tried it. SOS. It tries to open and then just disappears.

Worked like a charm. Went into .limewire folder. Deleted everything in it.

Went back and loaded LW PRO. It worked.
