uninstall Limewire - no uninstall.exe

To uninstall Limewire, the recommendations on this forum are NOT to use "Add/Remove Programs" but rather to use uninstall.exe which is supposed to be located in C:\Program Files\LimeWire\ or accessible via Start\All Programs\Limewire\uninstall

I want to uninstall v 4.2.6

Are there any other methods to totally remove Limewire ?

When you install another version, it'll uninstall the old version.

Try installing a new version and see if the uninstall.exe is there. Uninstall it, and then search your hdd for limewire and delete everything.

Limewire 4.12.15 wouldn't work for me so I tried to install the Beta verison and it wouldn't let me because I had another version of Limewire. I can't uninstall the old verison and now I messed it up and the old one wont even open and of course the new one wont download.

Any ideas?

Do a computer search and enter the terms limewire exe and limewire and delete anything it finds...
