Lots of people seem to have this problem but I can't find a solution- i have deleted all previous files but am still gettin- you have a previous version running-- HELP ME Please!!!

How did you uninstall LW? If you did it via Add/Remove Programs, that's the wrong way (the right way is start > all programs > limewire & use the uninstall option or installing a new version will automatically remove the previous version, providing you haven't tried to uninstall already).
In that case, use your computer's search to look for all files & folders with limewire in the name...delete from there. Also open Task Manager & click on the Processes tab. If there's a LimeWire process running, end the process. Now reboot your computer & see if LW will install. |
