I'm able to install limewire fine, but then I can't get it to open. About a week ago I downloaded and installed it and it opened just fine. But now it can't open. Why is this?

Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder/s...
