Nothing but problems with new version

I downloaded the new 4.14, but when I run it the old 4.12 logo open & the bar stops at 62% saying, loading playlist window. It will stay this way for about 5-10 minutes then resumes loading. Then after I download the program freezes while the item saves and it does the same thing if I clear something during download.

Please help.
