Lord of the Rings has a distinguished reputation

If LW is closed, then the preferences folder will delete. Next time you open LW, the program will create a new preferences folder. BTW after you have deleted the folder, the new prefs folder will be called Limewire not .limewire. See no. 1 Point #3 above about deleting from the Application Data folder.
