Thumbs down Limewire was unable to create a settings directory and is using a temporary...

Everytime i want to load limewire, it takes me through the whole set up phase where it says select language, where to save the downloads, speed, etc. As soon as that process is over it always has a message that says "Limewire was unable to create a settings directory and is using a temporary settings directory." It also says something to the effect that the settings will not be saved for the next time i load limewire. That is true...Each time i start limewire, i have to configure it again and this is frustrating. There is no support for this issue. I have uninstalled and re-installed limewire over and over, i have made sure to allow limewire with my virus scanner software, i have turned off the firewall just to install limewire. These do not work. Can anyone please help me?
