I recently payed for limewire pro but do not have it on my computer it never downloaded it never tryed for that matter. $60 and some change was debited from my account but no Lime wire Pro>??????? Please someone fix this before my husband takes it to something like the BBB.....Danielle

I guess BBB is another one of those American abbreviations that no one outside the US knows about.

OK now, first off, LimeWire does not cost $60.00, LW Pro cost only $34.95 at most. Check out this link:

Which means that you gave your financial details to a scam site, Internet parasites that part naive newbies from their money and give them nothing in return. So I guess you have bought access to LW Basic, which is free, for $60.

Secondly, if I were you I would not so much worry about the BBB, whoever they are, but get onto your bank, try and get your money back and get your financial details changed or the "parasites" that you gave your details to could bleed you and your hubby financially dry.

And third, but not least, this forum does not have any financial connection to the LW Org. or any scam site on the Internet. Questions put to this forum are answered by enthusiasts and computer users who either use or used to use the LimeWire application and we work rest and play in various countries from around the world.

Yes I understand that linewire pro is around $35 but when you add the protection and other optional things it adds up I know for a fact that it was no one but lime wire would you like to see my bank statement???

Its the Better Buisness Bureau just so you know.

Unless LW Org. has done an about face, they do not sell optional extras, just LimeWire Pro. Only scam sites sell bogus optional extras, so you must contact your bank and rescue your financial details.

If your so confident about this then Please Tell us what site you downloaded Limewire from.
If I were you I would be on the phone calling my Financial Institution to cancel the card that you gave to the Scamers.
