The installation on Windows 2000 Pro (including the "detection" that I did not have JRE 1.3 installed, even though I did, and its subsequent installation) seems to progress normally, then when asked if I want to launch LimeWire now, the installer presents a Severe error box with the text Error Launching LimeWire. I just purchased the 2.1.3 Pro version and had no problems installing 1.8 about 8 months ago. Now 1.8 is blown away, I'm out $8.50 and I have no LimeWire! ;-( I have tried short filenames, installing the Java RE 1.4, etc. and nothing works. Any ideas?
