I wouldn't expect Pro support to give you a warning...they're only there for support( ?) with Pro problems
If your Pro's definitely expired then you'll need to buy again (either the original 6 month deal or there's a new 'Extended Pro' that's valid for a year).
But before you buy Pro again, download the latest basic (free) version first...there have been a lot of changes in the latest versions & you might find that the new version doesn't work as well for you, or that you just don't like the changes  Providing you have your current Pro installer saved, you can go back to that version if you don't like the latest one (installing a new version of LW will automatically remove the version that you have installed now).
If you do decide to buy Pro, just write on a sticky note when your Pro will expire. Stick it on your calendar, or in your diary/organiser etc. Once it gets close to expiry time, check your download page every few days - an orange nag box will show, prompting you to renew. There's usually a few weeks between when the nag first shows & when your Pro actually expires. |
