I've been a pro user for a couple of years now, and I recently lost it. I'm trying to find a way to recover my installer. Limewire won't recognize my e-mail that I used to originally purchase it. The version that I had 4.12.3 was working fairly well and I wanted to recover it without having to pay for pro again. Does anyone have any suggestions that can help me out.

This is exactly my problem - I have the original email that confirmed the purchase but Limewire does not recognise it.

Depends on when you bought your Pro version. The suscription is only good for 6 mnths and just recently been offered for a year. So if its been longer than 6 mnths your e-mail address won't be in the data base any longer. If you want the updates and "e-mail support" that they offer, then you will have to re-purchase.

I'm having the same problem and since this is the only support I can seem to find....I bought mine in Feb 07 and it is a "lifetime full & unlimited access" for $24.88 plus $8.95 for download protection...any advice?

I had to reformat my hard drive and can't get it reinstalled.

Thanks for your help...I'm a bit confused though. I went through limewire.com I think and all the icons that came onto my computer were Limewire?? Thanks again though I am going to try to get my $$$ back and try again. I did think something was odd though...it said on the receipt I printed that the charge would appear on my CC as MP3NETONLINE.COM. I just thought it must have been how Limewire does it.

It will say Limewire LLC on reciept. Good Luck!!

I purchased pro about a year ago and my computer had to be re booted
it never ecognised my e mail so i saw an offer for it for about 10$
I payed it and it went out of my c card 210108
last night computer crashed and had to re boot and it will not recognise my e mail
I feel really cheated
any ideas or do i have to pay again

I tried following mine back but haven't been able to get through. I work during their business hours and haven't had time. The whole thing is VERY frustrating to me though - I know when I went online to make the purchase I was on the actual Limewire site, how I got offtrack and possibly purchased a "fake" version I do not know. I'm not happy about it. I will reply again if I gain any ground.
